Position: Rentals Manager

Work Schedule: Full Time. Monday to Friday (9-5pm)

Rate of Pay: Negotiable 

Who we are: 

We are Bespoke Decor, Habitat and Calikko!

Bespoke Decor is a growing design and rental company based in Vancouver.  We design and serve hundreds of film productions & events ranging from weddings to large corporate production. We are a small but mighty team taking on over more than 800 events annually. We give a damn about our clients and work hard to provide great service, high quality items and thoughtful design. 

Habitat is one of our sister companies and was established in September of 2020. Although we are typically known for designing beautiful events, Habitat was created to provide design services for homes. Our services are provided throughout the lower mainland from a tiny condo to a large home, this includes home staging, home styling, and air bnb turnkey service.

Lastly, Calikko is our 2nd sister retail company and was established in March of 2021. Bespoke and Habitat are both in the business of providing rentals, Calikko is our retail business. Calikko provides home goods and essentials that you can purchase for your home/ office. We currently provide service throughout the lower mainland but eventually we will be providing services throughout Canada.

What we are looking for: 

As a Rentals Manager for Bespoke Decor, we are looking for someone who is comfortable answering the phones, enjoys meeting with clients, conducting  consultations, following up on email correspondence with clients, managing a team, giving feedback and reviews . Additionally you will be assisting in packing orders, verifying orders and assisting in client will-call pick up and/or returns and creating rental quotes. You will also be responsible for caring for the office and showroom, ensuring that areas for consultations are prepped, and items from previous consultations have been cleared and put back. This will involve cleaning, taking out the recycling/garbage, and keeping general cleanliness and  aesthetic.

Lastly, a large part of this position will be working efficiently with the office & warehouse team.  We’re looking for someone who’s a self starter, communicates clearly & efficiently, who enjoys meeting new people and talking to new clients, but also enjoys working independently, while also capable of working in a team and managing a team

Duties required: 

  • Performing opening and closing showroom/warehouse duties and making sure it is presentable and ready for clients
  • Greeting clients and ensuring their needs are met
  • Answering phone calls and client concerns
  • Meeting clients for consultations and assisting with their rental needs as well as providing the correct services for them
  • Creating quotes and assisting clients with finalizing their orders
  • Ensuring that all rental client orders have the accurate information and items 
  • Ensuring that rentals client orders are packed and ready for pick up and delivery
  • Ensuring that rental client orders are returned on time and if not are returned are charged late fees
  • Managing the Rentals Department and being able to provide feedback when necessary

  • BC Class 5 Drivers License and personal vehicle
