Position: Content Creator

Rate of Pay: $40,000 – $50,000 depending on experience

Work Schedule: Full Time Tuesday-Saturday
(*may fluctuate depending on event installations)

Who We’re Looking For:

We’re looking for a Content Creator to join our growing team of creatives at Bespoke Decor! The Content Creator will be responsible for daily social media activities and account management, with a focus on audience engagement and growth. 

Social media is a familiar landscape to you – you have a deep understanding of social media users and how to leverage industry knowledge to create relatable content. One of the main focuses for this role is developing and supporting the Bespoke brand through storytelling and content creation. 

We are looking for someone with a passion for creating relatable, engaging content. We love our community and want to only further our connection with them. We are looking for a self-starter who will bring ideas, enthusiasm and expertise to our team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Posting on all social platforms for Bespoke (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Tiktok).  
  • Crafting engaging and educational content from ideation to execution. This includes all the creative from: concept > video > story > copy > graphic content, etc. 
  • Producing a monthly content calendar across all platforms – Developing and maintaining a consistent social media posting schedule for Bespoke. 
  • Creating relevant and timely content to share (ex. Seasonal campaigns, holidays, etc.).
  • Actively engaging in social community and fostering relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Understand and maintain the “Bespoke” voice when responding to comments and DM’s on all social media platforms.
  • Monitoring sites for popular trends, industry news, and other relevant events and activities 
  • Constantly evaluating our current practices in an effort to keep our social strategy fresh.  
  • Engage in strong communication between different departments to ensure you’re up to date with event installations, builds and day-to-day happenings
  • Assisting the Marketing Manager and other departments in content creation as needed.
  • Developing and managing social contests
  • Performance driven – Tracking and analyzing social media results to ensure goals are met 
  • Manage social media assets in an organized manner 
  • Assisting with marketing projects and outreach programs
  • Additional tasks as required
  • Additional projects as required

The Must Haves:

  • Previous experience in a social media role or similar. Thumbs up if you have any examples and recommendations from previous accounts you’ve grown! 
  • This role calls for strong video editing and graphic design skills. 
  • Strong knowledge of the social media landscape, platforms and best practices.
  • A true self starter! This means taking the initiative to identify areas of growth, working with minimal supervision and driving projects to completion.  
  • Major props for creative thinking! Ability to think outside the box, curate content and copy unique to our brand. 
  • Strong writing skills for that attention-grabbing copy and on-point brand voice. 
  • Exceptional project management and organization skills are essential.
  • Impeccable attention to detail.
  • Thrives on working in a fast paced environment. Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and deliver assets with a quick turnaround time! 
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule depending on events and posting schedules. 
  • Excellent communication skills: written and verbal. 

The Extra Details:

  • Bonus! Previous experience in paid social media ads. 

Work Schedule:

*The schedule itself is always changing and flexibility is required. Most weeks, especially during the summer months, will consist of working from Tuesday to Saturday in order to align with onsite events. 

You’ll be expected to spend most of your time either in the Bespoke office capturing the daily happenings and onsite during weekends and evenings, as required to capture content and post timely.

We are Bespoke Decor, Habitat and Calikko!

Bespoke Decor is a growing design and rental company based in Burnaby.  We design and serve hundreds of events ranging from weddings to corporate gatherings and film productions. 

Secondly, Habitat Staging is one of our sister companies established in September of 2020. Habitat provides design and staging services for homes. Our services are provided throughout the lower mainland from a small condo to a large home.

Lastly, Calikko is our 2nd sister retail company and was established in March of 2021. Calikko provides home goods and essentials that you can purchase.
