Today we want to share a simple printable to make a sparkler send off easy and to dress up the actual sparklers you give out to guests (and to let them know what they’re for!). We made it a simple grey so you can match it to almost any wedding decor (and by this time, it’ll be dark anyways).
Just download these printables RIGHT HERE. They print out three to a page, and we recommend cardstock. You can see ours has some print lines SO we also recommend getting them printed at a copy shop for laser quality. Cut them out- we’d also recommend a paper cutter, especially if you’re doing enough for every guest! This little guy only cost about $12 and works like a charm.
Then, tape on your sparklers! We love this gold foil tape and it sticks even better than washi tape. We just picked it up from the craft store.
Today we’re bringing you some fun free printable bookmarks that are all about love. We used a watercolour background in some springy colours for these sweet little bookmarks. With DIY tassels, they’re perfectly darling. We think they make an awesome wedding or shower favor. Ready to see how they’re made?
To get started, download and print the free file (grab it here) on cardstock and cut them to size. When you have that done, it’s time to make your tassels! I’d like you to know that we’ve found the easiest way to make tassels in a hurry. So if you’re making a bunch- we’ve got you covered. You can get packs of embroidery thread from the dollar store (it’s not the same texture as regular embroidery thread but it’s perfect for tassels. Cut them in half and tie the folded end… see!? SO quick. No wrapping for eeeever.
Then, take a piece of thread and a darning needle (those are the ones that are super thick- for wool and such) and punch it through your bookmarks to tie off.
That’s it, that’s all. One bookmark at each place setting would make a pretty colourful tablescape, or stack them neatly in a basket for guests to pick on their way out.
So we know that weddings can be crazy expensive- and we know that you want them to look amazing whether or not you’re dropping the big bucks. So we’ve rounded up some of our favourite free wedding printables that are also ridiculously gorgeous to help make your day awe-some! And yes… these are all 100% free.
Left to Right / Top to Bottom:
ONE: Let’s start with some gorgeous florals, why don’t we? I love these printable paper fans that have floral illustrations on one side and an editable program on the other. Cute and functional.
TWO: Our very own free printable table number guest books had to make it into the list! Cross guest book and table numbers off your list with this free printable DIY. And they come in three colours to boot.
THREE: Will you be my bridesmaid? Spoiler- if you ask me with this card I’ll probably say yes! The florals are crazy pretty.
FOUR: This beachy watercolour invitation is so lovely, and better yet they have a whole suite of coordinating paper goods! Is there anything The Wedding Chicks can’t do?
FIVE: Three words: custom. drink. tickets. *swoon* Is there anything more tacky than red dollar store drink tickets? NO? I didn’t think so. But these could be on the fanciest of wedding tables.
SIX: An entire invitation suite as a free printable? Oh yes, she did! We love everything Lia Griffith does and this baby is no different.
SEVEN: How fun are these chalkboard looking placemats!? What a great way to add character to an already beautiful table. I love these for buffets since you won’t have a plate at each setting.
EIGHT: Oh Happy Day! These photo save the dates are just so darn pretty we couldn’t leave them off the list!
NINE: This free invitation and details card template gives you all the goods you need to make your own custom invitations. How amazing are all those fonts they’ve used? And all free!
TEN: What better way to announce that you’re engaged than with a sweet postcard? These lovely photo post cards are from our friend and local wedding planner Sweetheart Events and come in four colours.
Phew- quite the list right! And most of these sites have more than just what’s shown. It’s like an endless supply of awesome, all for free. Have you ever used a free printable before? Would you? We’d love to hear in the comments!
Today I’m so excited to be sharing these lovely watercolour feather engagement and wedding cards with you all! If you’re anything like me, you have a ton of weddings and showers to attend this summer. These cards should get you out of one or two last minute jams and look so pretty printed up for a bride and groom. When my friend Colleen shared her free feather templates on Friday I couldn’t help snatch them up for these cards. The watercolour detail is one of my favourite ways to pretty up any design lately, and brush script? It’s all good, you guys!

One of my favourite traditions for bridal showers is for guests to bring one of their favourite recipes to gift to the new bride. I know that Pinterest is the new recipe book (and I love it!) but there’s something so special of recipes passed down along family and friends. By asking guests to bring just one, you know you’re getting a tried and true favourite, and hey- who says you can’t request that chicken dish of Aunty Ann’s that you look forward to year round!
There’s a certain charm about everyone bringing a recipe card from their collection but with less of us stocking recipe cards in our cupboards, it’s nice to provide guests a card for them to bring along. Send these out with the invitation and the bride-to-be will have a beautiful recipe collection. We’ve created the recipe cards in both these blue and pink colours, but also in a golden yellow and simple black and white. All the colour versions have a watercolour texture up close.
Just click the colour you would like, download the PDF and print on card stock paper! The PDF has 2 recipe cards per sheet, sized at a standard 4×6 recipe card size.
I’m so excited about today’s post! Today we’re sharing these gorgeous DIY Neon Edged Save the Dates with you. The best part? We’re including the customizable free printable for you- so you can actually use them! These save the dates are clean, simple, and striking with a pop of neon that’s too much fun.
Here’s what you’ll need to create your own Save the Dates:
Get started by editing our template to include your information. The template is for Word- so it’s crazy easy to edit. Just download, open, and change out the names, date, and city for your wedding details. The font we used is Brandon Grotesque, if you don’t have this one a good alternative is Century Gothic which comes standard on most machines. Save your edited document as a PDF (File/Save As) and send to the printers. Have them printed double sided (page two is the patterned backing) on heavy weight (minimum 100lb) card stock. They print two invites to one page.
Once you have your save the dates printed, you can cut them out. A paper cutter will work best to give you straight lines. Edging the paper makes uneven lines more noticeable, so invest in a paper cutter (you can get some for around $20) instead of trying scissors. When you’re done cutting them out, take a stack and run your neon highlighter over the edges of the papers until they’re as bright as you like. Take care not to colour the front or back of the pages.
That’s all there is to these! Tie them up with some coordinating bakers twine and pop them in envelopes to send to guests. If you’re ambitious, you could even edge your envelopes to match! They’re so much fun with the pop of colour. We’d love to see if you do use the template! Just tag us on social media or shoot us an email (you’ll make our day!). Please keep in mind these printables are for personal use only and cannot be redistributed or sold- but you’re golden and already knew that.
